RIP Sunflower

Bradley took out one of my sunflowers the other day with his yard leash. Of course he killed the tallest one. Please give a moment of silence.

Lancaster, PA June 21st

Joe and I took a ride to Lancaster, PA. Home of the Amish. We wanted to go check out a Pottery Barn outlet for new furniture. Kind of strange that in the middle of farmlands, there are shopping outlets. We didn't find anything, but it was worth the ride.

The beginning of our trip. Must use GPS everywhere we go.

We took Bradley with us. He was totally stoked. He likes seeing horses and cows. Plus, we just take him everywhere.

We made it to the middle of nowhere. It was raining for 3/4s of the day.

Finally saw an Amish family driving a horse and buggy. Started to take pictures and Joe yelled at me. They don't like getting their pictures taken... Should have taken pictures of Joe instead.

Here is Dutch Haven. A store in the area that sells "Amish" items. Looks cool, right? Talk about false advertisement. We wanted to get my dad an Amish hat for Father's Day. We walked into the store and to our delight, they had them, we were so excited until we looked at the tag. MADE IN CHINA.

On our drive back, a little rainbow appeared. This must be the year for rainbows- I have never seen so many!

June 14 Dog Park

Joe and I love taking Bradley to the Veterans Dog Park (in Hamilton). The following is photo documentation from last Sunday.

Let me start off by telling you that our trip began at Starbucks. The old man pictured below was sitting outside of the cafe. Instantly, I decided that this will be Joe when he is in his 70s. Obnoxious cardigan sweater. Can't get anymore old man Joe than that.

Anyway, Bradley was very excited and VERY ready to go. Unfortunately, he had to wait for Joe to get his coffee. He was on the verge of driving himself.

Yes, must close lips when being kissed by Bradley or else will turn into French Kiss. Yuck.

Finally, we have arrived at the park. It's about 8pm!

No free Starbucks adds here.

This is Molly, one of the dog park's frequent visitors. She is very calm and very adorable.

Bradley has finally figured out how to climb up the ramp by himself. Obviously was ready for picture.

Below is Mike aka Mayor Biscuits. Mike knows every dog that steps into the park and knows every person who carries biscuits in their pockets. Will not leave you alone unless you give up biscuit donation. Mike is around 11 years old.

This would have been a wonderful picture of Mike if it weren't for the crackhead in the background.

Cuteness

Ginny, one of Mary Lou's friends (Joe's Mom), owns a daycare center. This is her with one of the babies that she adores.

She is also a foster mother. This is one of her foster children. Around 14 months. Amazing kid.

Our flourishing flowers.

Welcome to 27 Churchill Ave.!
Here is our brand new front lawn, thanks to Justin. Making our neighbors jealous.

Joe bought a bird feeder a couple weeks ago. He was very excited and very proud. Unfortunately, the squirrels became very found of the feeder, too! They gnawed through the rope so it would drop onto the ground making the bird seed a free for all! Joe has challenged the rascals and bought very sturdy wire. Good luck biting through that, dudes!

This is the basil I am growing. Have massive leaves this year! Also, the last of my sunflower seedlings that need to be planted but have no room.

Here are some more pictures of the flowers in the front:

Now towards the garden in the back of the house! Behold! My sunflower bed!
To the right of the sunflowers is a strawberry plant, which is growing but not sprouting many strawberries! Yikes.

Last but not least, here is a picture of the creepy plant Justin gave us.Hope you enjoyed and hope Alex gives my pictures his approval!!

xox.

Welcome Everyone!

I have decided to start up a photo blog for my own creative encouragement. Thought it might be neat for everyone to have visual updates of The Lepore Family and the happenings of 27 Churchill Ave.

Please add our blog to your browser bookmarks and check in for updates. ENJOY!

Love,

vicky and joe.
